So much more than simply dessert, fondue is a fun family activity. While the adults gather this recipe's key ingredients (GODIVA Large 31% Milk Chocolate Bars and GODIVA Large 72% Dark Chocolate Bars, of course), let the kids’ imaginations run wild with their own suggestions for the dip list: marshmallows, graham crackers, even over-sized gummies. Conversely, chocolate fondue can also serve as the perfect romantic activity. Whether it's for Valentine's Day or simply a special date night, you can share the romantic experience of making and indulging in chocolate covered strawberries (and other delicious fruits you enjoy)
 

Ingredients:

  • 240ml double cream
  • 200g Godiva Milk Chocolate Bar, finely chopped
  • 200g Godiva Dark Chocolate Bar, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, heat the double cream over medium-low heat until it starts to simmer, but do not let it boil.

  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the finely chopped Godiva Milk Chocolate and Godiva Dark Chocolate. Let it sit for a minute to allow the chocolate to soften.

  3. Stir the mixture gently until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  4. Transfer the chocolate fondue to a fondue pot or a heatproof bowl, if using immediately. If not serving immediately, cover the bowl with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the chocolate to prevent a skin from forming. You can reheat it gently when ready to serve.

  5. Serve the chocolate fondue with a variety of dipping options such as marshmallows, graham crackers, strawberries, bananas, or any other fruits you enjoy.
